As part of this collaboration between MSCHF and Mercedes-AMG, I proposed the idea of a trashcan that uses AMG foot pedals as its open/close mechanism during early brainstorms. The concept aimed to merge performance-driven design with unexpected utility—something that felt true to both brands. I was responsible for creating the initial renders and visuals that helped communicate the idea clearly to the wider team. Beyond visuals, I contributed to early conversations around how the pedal system could mechanically function, ensuring the concept was both playful and feasible. This idea ultimately became part of the final collection.
