Originally released in 2023 as part of my BENEVOLENCE collection, the Bones Fleece quickly became one of my most sought-after pieces—selling out within 12 hours of launch. Its success wasn’t just about hype; it was a result of thoughtful design and an emotional response to form. Blending the familiar structure of a classic fleece jacket with bold, sculptural lines inspired by neo-futurism, the piece reimagines comfortwear as something more expressive and symbolic. The skeletal motif creates a visual language that feels both protective and exposed—something wearable, but also evocative. When re-released in 2024 in new colorways (grey and lavender), the fleece once again sold out, solidifying its place not only as a signature garment in my archive but also as a turning point in how I understand my audience, production cycles, and the balance between art and scalability. This piece taught me how powerful narrative-driven design can be when paired with smart business decisions—from timing and marketing to limited runs that maintain exclusivity while still growing demand.
